A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF
BAKERSFIELD DECLARING THAT NO PROTESTS WERE
~ MADE TO THE ANNEXATION ~OF TERRITORY DESIG-
NATED AS SUNSET NO. 1 PROPOSED TO BE
ANNEXED TO .THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Government'Code of the State
of California, Sections 35300 and fo!lowing~ proceedings have been
instituted for the annexation of 'certain territory designated as
"Sunset No. 1" and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such proceedings a petition was
signed and filed for such annexation, a'resolution adopted
describing boundaries of the territory sought' to be annexed,
publications had on said resolution and ~a time adopted for. hearing
of pro.tests from persons owning real property in said territory,
and
WHEREAS, a hearing was duly held in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall in the City of Bakersfield, the 29th day of
October, '~962 at the hour 6f eight o'clock p.m. pursuant to
notices given in compliance with law, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing no written or oral protests
were made by any person owning property within the aforesaid
territory; . .
NOW, .THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the'Council of the
City of Bakers field that; ' .
Said City Council finds and resolves that no. pro.test
has been made to. the annexation .of real property to the City of
Bakers field, said property being designa'ted a's "Sunset No. 1"

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution,was-
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of 'Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of November, 196.2,
