ARESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AUTHORIZING THE FISCAL AGENT TO
WITHDRAW CERTAIN FUNDS FROM THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD OFF-STREET PARKING'SURPLUS REVE-
NUE. FUND.AND TO PAY SAID FUNDS TO THE CITY
TREASURER, ':
.WHEREAS, the City of Bakers field' has 'entered into the
construction of a Civic Auditorium; and.
WHEREAS, the off-street parking facilities adjacent to
the Civic Auditorium are insufficient to accommodate the area; and
WHEREAS, the cost of improvement of such facilities is
to be paid out of the General Fund of the City;and
WHEREAS, such off-'street parking is an extension of the
present. off-street.parking project'; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 75-55 authorizing the issuance of
City of Bakersfield Off-Street Parking RevenUe Bonds provides in
Section 5'.08 (6) "Surplus Revenue. Fund" that "... the Fiscal Agent
shall set aside, or pay over to the TreasUrer of the'City as
directed by a resolution of the CounCil, any or all moneys in the
Surplus Revenue'Fund, which .said moneys shall be used and withdrawn
by the. Fiscal Agent or used and withdrawn bY the Treasurer of the
City,..as the case may be, only for any one' or more of '~he following
purposes: .. .... (b) For payment by the TreasUrer of' the City of the
cost of extensions or improvements of the project "' and
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield. intends to include the
off-street parking facilities of the Civic Auditorium;within the
.Project" as defined in Section 1.01 (k) of'Resolution No. 75-55.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that the Fisc~i~~,"'~r~-~'~'fo~'~'~ion~l ...........
Bank, No. 1 Sansome Street, San. Francisco 20, Caiifornia, be and
hereby is authorized to transfer sixty thousand, one hundred
thirty-one dollars and seventy cents ($60,131.70) from the Surplus
Revenue Fund to the Treasurer of the City of 'Bakersfield and the
Treasurer is' hereby authorized to apply said 'sum' to the improvement
of the off-'street parking facilities of· the Civic ~uditorium.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the. foregoing.Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers field at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day Of .July, 1962, Iby the
