A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE'
MAYOR TO SIGN'CERTIFICATE RELATING TO THE
RIGHT OF WAY CLEARANCE ON PROPOSED PROJECT
FOR .THE IMPROVEMENT OF "H" STREET.
· WHEREAS, the california Highway Commission has voted funds
under Section 143.3 of the Streets'and Highways Code to assist in
financing in the improvement of "H" Street from Brundage Lane to
Truxtun Avenue, Urban Extension Project FAS 882, UE-1.,
AND WHEREAS, it is a requirement of the agreement between
the State of California, Depar'tment 0f Public Works,and the City
of'Bakersfield for the expenditure of said funds that the right of
waybe certified clear before advertising a construction project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the May~r of the City
.of Bakers field be,. and he is hereby authorized .and directed to
sign, for and on behalf of-the City Council.of the'City of Bakers-
field, the Certificat~ relating to the right. of way clearance on
proposed project on "H" Street from Brundage Lane to TrUxtun
:Avenue

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 30th day of April, 1962, by the
following vote:
