RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ,' CALIFORNIA,. CONFIRMING THE
ASSESSMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION .OF SIDEWALKS
WITHIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 763,
· IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS~ the Council of the' City of Bakers field did adopt
Resolution of Intention No. 763 for the construction Of Sidewalks
as follows:
The construction of sidewalks adjacent to Lots-
1 to 126, inclusive, Tract 1620, City of
Bakersfield, California.
WHEREAS, pursuant tO proceedings had and taken.by said City
Council under said Resolution of Intention No. 763, a contract
was entered into by and between JOE C. BROWN, as contractor, and
H. E. BERGEN, as' Street Superintendent of said City', for the
construction .of said improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of-Streets prepared, signed and
filed with the City Clerk his assessment covering .thel costs and
expenses of the construction of said improvements; and
WHEREAS, notice of the filing of said assessment'has. been
duly and regularly given by publication, posting and mailing, aS
required by law, and said.notice fixed the 16th day of April, 1962
at the hour of eight o'clock (8:00) P.M., and 'the chambers of the
'City Council, located in the City Hallin the City.~of Bakersfield,
as the time and place when and where all. persons, interested in
the work done, or in the assessment, would be heard by the said
City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL "OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
CALIFORNIA~ DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE,. FIND AND 'ORDER AS
· FOLLOWS: . . ' · · '.
· That after a fair and impartial hearing having been granted
to al.l persons desiring 'to be heard in 'the. matter of the said im-
provement, described as aforesaid, in Public Improvement District
No. 763, and all objections presented, having been 'heard and fully
considered, and the City Council being satisfied with the cor-
rectness and fairness of the assessment and diagram, it is hereby
determined that all appeals or objections be overruled and denied
.and that the assessment .and diagram, together with the proceedings,
be confirmed and approv. ed and that the Superintendent of Streets
shall forthwith attach a warrant to said assessment being the
date of this resolution of the City Council.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution Was duly
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of April, 1962, by
the following vote:
