HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 22-62RESOLUTION N0. 22-62 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCiLOF ,THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ESTABLISHING · THE COMMERCIAL RENTAL RATES FOR .THE USE OF THE CIVIC AUDITORIUM. WHEREAS, Section'5.32.110 of the Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall, by resolution, establish the minimum com- mercial rental r'ates for the use of the Civic Auditorium, · NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield that the minimum commercial rental rates for the use of the Ci,vic Auditorium shall be as follows: SECTION I. (a) Facility Arena Concert Hall Combination Stage* Facility Rental Morning AfternOon Evening All Day $225.00 $250.00 $300.00 $450.00 250.00 300.00 350.00 525.00 350.00 425.00 475.00 725.00 75.00 -75.00 75.00 125.00 *These rates apply when stage is used as an independent facility or for rehearsals, and such use, in the Opinion of the AuditoriumManager does not conflict with other scheduled programs. (b) Percentage option on all commercial rentals will be 10% of the gross sales after tax, if greater than minimum.rental specified in i'tem (a). SECTION II. Trade Shows One Day 2~¢ per sq. f~'. SeasOnal Rate': The base'rental shall be reduced $50'.00 for programs scheduled between June ist'and. August 31st.· SECTION VI. Overtime use': A'fee of $75.00 per'hour or any p,ortion "thereof shall be charged for each hour of overtime beyond that. specified by contract. SECTION VII. Extra Personnel: (Ordinance 1313, Section 8) 'The .contractor shall make. arrangements for personnel necessary to the operation of the program directly with the Auditorium Manager. These personnel will be provided at the pre- vailingwage scale on file in the Auditorium office. SECTiON.~Viii._~'Equipment·~.and~Speci~l~Fees: .... SECTION IXi Special Rates: The Audito~itnm Manager may, at his discretion, and subject to approval by the City Manager, negotiate for special rates when in the best interest of the-Civic AuditOrium and the City of Bakersfield. I HEREBY CERTIFY 'that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 9th day of April, 1962, by the following vote.
