RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION 'OF ESTIMATE
OF COST, DISTRICT MAP, AND PLANS AND SPECIFI-
CATIONS IN THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION' OF
SIDEWALKS AND NECESSARY RETAINING WALL
FRONTING ON LOTS 21- 5 1, INCLUSIVE, OF TRACT
1700, THE SAME TO BE PROPOSED AS PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 768, IN THE CITY OF
-BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield has duly
found' and determined that the owners of more than sixty per cent (60%)
of the area of the property subject to assessment.signed and duly
fileda written petition for improvement work hereinafter described,
as evidenced by Resolution No. 11-62 of this City Council of said
City.
" NOW, THEREFORE, BE'IT.RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of.Bakersfield that' the City Engineer of the said City,'be.and he is
hereby ordered and directed to prepare an estimate of cost of, map of
the district to be benefited by, and plans and 'specifications for,
the following improvement work and construction to be done in said
City of Bakersfield, to wit:
The construction of sidewalks and necessary "retaining
wall fronting on Lots 21-51, inclusive, of Tract 1700,
City of Bakersfield, California.
That all of the above improvement work and construction shall
be of the sizes and dimensions and done in the manner and places and
to the g~ades as shown and indicated on the plans and specifications
therefor, to be approved and adopted by this City Council of the City
of Bakersfield',
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the COuncil of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 26th day of February, 1962, by the following vote:
