· A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD PRESCRIBING THE HOLIDAYS DURING
THE YEAR 1962, TO WHICH ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE.
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD SHALL BE.ENTITLED.
WHEREAS, Section 3.64;330 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakers field provides that all employees o'f the City 'shall be entitled'
to eight, holidays per year, which said holidays' shall be selected and
enumetrated by resolution of the Council during the month of December
R~ceding each calendar 'year for which ~said holidays are to be
.selected.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE'IT RESOLVED by the Council of t-he-City of
:Bakers field, that the following holidays ,are hereby selected as the
legal holidays for the employees Of the City of Bakers field for the
year 19.62.:
January 1st .
February 12 known as "Lincolh Da"
, Y
May 30th
July 4th
.First Monday'in September
November llth, known as "Veterans Day"
Decg~ber 25th
Every day..appointed by the President or
'Governor for a public fast,,thanksgiving,
or holiday

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the COuncil of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
thereof-held on .the 26th day of December, 1961', by the following vote:
