RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING THE
CONTRACT FOR THE DOING OF THE WORK IN THE MATTER
OF "PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 763" IN SAID
CITY, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION ADOPTED
BY SAID COUNCIL ON THE 9TH DAY OF' OCTOBER, 19.61.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield, did in
open session on the 18th day of December, 1961, publicly open, examine
and declare all Sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work
in said City, to wit:
The construction of sidewalks adjacent to Lots
1 to 126,.inclusive, Tract 1620, City of...
Bakersfield~ California.
WHEREAS, all. of said bidS-haVing been duly considered by said
Ci.ty Council, and it :~ppearing tO .the said City Council, and said City
Council hereby finds, that the flowest regular responsible bidder for
the doing of said.workis JOE C. BROWN;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of'the City
of Bakersfield, that said'City Council'd0eshereby reject all'of said
proposals or bids e.xcept the nextherein mentioned and does hereby
awa~:~ the contract for the doing 'of said work and said. improvement
to .the lowest' regular responsible bidder, to wit: .JOE C. BROWN, at
the pric~s named in Said bidder's proposal or bid.-,.
That the City. Clerk of the City of Bakersfield is hereby
directed t0' publish notice of award ofcontract twice in the 'Bakers-
f~eld Californian, a daily newspaper, printed, published and of

general CirCulation in the City of Bakers field, California, hereby
designated for that purpose, all in the manner-and form provided
by law.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ResolutiOn was passed and
