RESOLUTION DIRECTING THAT UNPAID ASSESSMENTS
UNDER PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 749, BE
COLLECTED UPON THE TAX ROLL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 5450, et seq.,'of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, a written request has been
made by the contractor that certain unpaid assessments in the matter
of Public Improvement District No. 749 be collected upon the tax roll
upon which general taxes are collected, and
WHEREAS, it appears that said assessments remain unpaid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
That the descriptions of the properties so assessed, the amounts
of such assessments, together with interest thereon from the date of
filing the original list of unpaid assessments at the rate of 1 percent
per month to the next succeeding thirty-first day of December of the
tax year for which the tax roll shall have been prepared, and the
total amount of principal and interest on such properties to be
collected upon the tax roll upon which general taxes are collected,
are as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tax Collector of the City of
Bakersfield be and he is hereby directed to extend upon the tax roll
of said City the total amount of the above assessments and interest.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular meeting
thereof, held on the 18th day of September, 1961, by the following vote:
