RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE
ASSESSMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS
WITHIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 759,
IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did adopt
Resolution of Intention No. 759 for the construction of sidewalks
as follows:
The construction of sidewalks on Lots 1 to 12,
inclusive, Block 2; Lots 1.to 12, inclusive,
Block 3, Palm Tract, City of Bakersfield,
California.
The construction of sidewalks on Lots 1, and 14
to 21, inclusive, Block 6; Lots 4 to 7, inclusive,
Block 10; Lots 3 to 6, inclusive, Block 11; Tract
1099, City of Bakers field, California.
The construction of sidewalks on Lot 1, Block
12; Lots 1 to 12, inclusive, Block 13; Lots ll
to 20, inclusive, Block 15; Lots 1 to 4, in-
clusive, Block 16; Lots 1 to 7, inclusive, Block
17; Lots 1 to 4, inclusive, Block 18; Tract 1285,
City of Bakersfield, California.
The construction of sidewalks on Lots 1 to 23,
inclusive, Lots 25 to 44, inclusive, Tract 1527,
City of Bakersfield, California.
The construction of sidewalks on Lots 1 to 8,
inclusive, N. 1/2' of Lots 9 to 10, Frampton
Acres, City of Bakersfield, California.
WHEREAS, pursuant to proceedings had and taken by said City
Council under said Resolution of Intention No. 759, a contract was
entered into by and between JOE Co BROWN, as Contractor, and
H. BERGEN, as Street Superintendent of said City, for the con-
struction of said improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets prepared,. signed and
filed with the City Clerk his assessment covering the costs and
expenses of the construction of said improvements; and
WHEREAS, notice of the filing of said assessment has been
duly and regularly given by publication, posting and mailing, as
required by law, and said notice'fixed the 7th day of August,
1961, at the hour of eight o'clock (8:00) P.M., and the chambers
of the City Council, located in the City Hall in the City of
Bakersfield, as the time and place when and where all persons,
interested in the work done, or in the assessment, would be
heard by the said City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
That after a fair and impartial hearing'having been granted
to all persons desiring to be heard in the matter of the said
improvement, described as aforesaid, in Public Improvement District
No. 759, and all objections presented, having been heard and fully
considered, and the City Council being satisfied with the correct-
ness and fairness of the assessment and diagram, it is hereby
determined that all appeals or objections be overruled and denied
and that the assessment and diagram, together with the proceedings,
be confirmed and approved and that the Superintendent of Streets
shall forthwith attach a warrant to said assessment being the
date of this resolution of the City Council.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of August, 1961,
by the following vote:
AYES: BALFANZ, COLLINS, CROES, e, MARCHBANKS, MOSSMAN, STIERN
