RESOLUTION.OF THE CITY COUNCIL oF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ~DOPTING AND SUB-
MITTING A BUDGETs,FOR EXPENDITURE OF
-. ,FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY
· FUNDS TO CITIES.

WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the City.
and the State Of California on April 3~ 1,961, for 'expenditure of
funds allOCated from the State'H~ghway liund ~o,.cities; and,
· WHEREAS,. the City' CoUncil has prepare a project state-
ment showing estimated expenditure of such funds recommended to be
made during the 1,961-62 fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS~ the city coUncil',has heard read said project
statement is familiar with the contents' thereoi;
THEREFORE, .be it resolved by'the City C0uncil:'o~ theCity
of Bakersfield that said project statement be and it is hereby
'adopted as the budget Of proposed expenditures of the gas tax allo-
cation to cities., said proj.eqt statement be and the same is hereby
approved and the City Engineer is directed to sign-the~same on behalf
of said City; andlSa'id project statement to be'submitted~o'the
Department of Public Works~ State of California~ in accordance with
the provisions. Of 'Section 197 o~ the Streets and Highways Code.·
