RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD EXPRESSING ITS
SUPPORT OF THE SENIOR BOWL FOOTBALL
GAME.
WHEREAS, the Kern County Foundation For Retarded Children and
the Kern County Fire Department are sponsoring the Fourth. Annual
"Senior Bowl" Football Game to be presented on the night 'of June 29,
1961, and
WHEREAS, the Senior Bowl Football Game is an outstanding sports
,attraction which brings to .the playing field the finest senior football
players .from throughout Kern County, and
WHEREAS, the proceeds of the Senior Football Game are to be
.donated to the Local Chapter of 'the Kern County Foundation Eor Retarded
Children,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDby the Bakersfield City Council
that the Council commends the efforts of the sponsors of the Fourth
Annual Senior Bowl Football Game and extends its wholehearted support
to this worthy endeavor.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing~ Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers field. at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 5th day of June, 1961, by the following vote:
