OF GRADE DISTRICT~
WHEREAS, the Council of tR!G~ city of Bakersfield did, on ~he
27th day of March, 1.961,";pass i~? Resolution of Intention No, 34-61,
-zo include certain prope:f'~VTdes~gnated as "Gollege Heights No.
within ~he Greater Bakersfield Separation oS Grade Dfstrict,.and
setting the time and place for hearing objections %o the inclusion of
said territory within said Dist}ie't, and
WHEREAS, said Resolution-of Intention was duly and l~gally
published once a week for two weeks, the first publication thereof
be'$ng at.least twenty dayS.prior to the date of the hearing as pro-
vided by law~ and
'WHEREAS, A~onday~ the:"!s~ d~y of ~a+'~ 1961, at the hour of 8r00
osclock P. M., was set as. ~he ~ime .for hearing objections to the
inclusio2' of said territory with'in said District, and
WHEREAS, n.o objection has been filed or presented to said
Council to the inclusion of sai.d..territory or any .part .thereof within
'the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, and the Council
further finds that all of said..t.errito'ry Will be. benefited by its
inclusion within said District..

,Separation of Grade DistriCt upo'n completion'of annexation of said
territory to the City of Bakersfield, which said. territory is described
as follows:
A parcel of land situate in the County Sf Kern, State of Cal'ifornia,
and being-~a portion of the southwest quarter (S. W. 1/4), of Section '
15, Township 29 South, Range 28 F.ast, M. D. M., and. also a portion of
the 'Southeast quarter (S. E. 1/4), of Section 16, of the said Town-
shipsand Range=, and which is mo~=e particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the. northeast (N. B.) corner, of the South half (S. 1/2)
of the southwest quarter (S. ~. 1/4), of said Section 15~ thence
S. 89° 2~~ 44" ~., along the northerly boundary of the said south half
(S. 1/.2)';' of the southwgs% quarte-r:-(S. W.. 1/4).of Section 15, a distance
of 1'43.00 feet, to the true point of beginning of this desc/iption;..
therise continuing S. 89° 25' 44" W., along last named northerly

as same ms defined by that certain annexation known aS "College Heights
No. 1," aftopted by Ordinance No. 1050, New Series, May 23, 1955, and
certified June 24, 1955, by the Secretary of State, State of
