' 4'5-61' A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' BAKERSFIELD RESCINDING' RESOLUTION NO... 31-61 AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE' FOR HEARING~ PROTESTS BY PERSONS OWNING REAL PROPERTY WITHIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "CORONADO NO.' 3, "' PROPOSED TO BE ANNEED TO THE'I CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA. ' - .WHEREAS, a petition was filed with 'the Council Of the city of Bakersfield on'the 17th day of April~· 1961i requesting that certain uninhabited territory therein described be annexed to and incorporated within the City of' Bakersfield, and WHEREAS', said petition was signed by the owners of not less than one-fourth (1/4) of the area of the land in such territory, and representing.not less than one-fourth (1/4) of the assessed value of such territory according to the last.preceding equalized assessment' :roll of?the County 'of Kern. N6W~ THEREFORE,.in compliance with the provisions of the .Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of· 1939, Chapter 297, as amended, ~BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as "fo 1 lows-: That the boundaries oE']~the territory so proposed to be annexed to'the City of Bakersfield are described as follows: 'A parcel ofland situate in the County of Kern, State of California, and beinga'portion of the Southwest quarter (S. W. 1/4), of Section 12, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M. D. M.: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of the South half (S. 1/2), of (S~-~ W. 1/4), of said Section 12, a point on the current corporate boundary of the City of. Bakersfield, said point of beginning also being the Northeast. corner. of.TRACT No. 2438, as per map recorded November 17~ 1960, in Book 11 of Maps at page 134, in the office · of.the.County Recorder of.Said Kern County; THENCE (1) N. 89° 53' '44~ W.,al0ng the northerly boundary of said TRACT No. 2438, on 'and·alQng~the corporate boundary of the City of Bakersfield as same is defined by Ordinance No. 1327 New Series, a distance· ' of 1652.118 feet to a point, distant S. 89° 53' 44" E., 996.00 feet, from the westerly boundary of the South- west quarter (S. W. 1/4), of said Section 12; THENCE ·(2) N. 0° 01'~52'' W., along a line paralle~ with the'westerly boundary of the Southwest ·quarter (S. W..i/4.),. of said Section.12, and departing from the~corporate boundary of the City of Bakersfield, a distance of 660.'439 feet, to intersect the northerly boundary of'the'SOuth half ~(S.. 1/2), of the southwest quarter'(.S.w.~l/4), of said Section 12; THENCE (3i S. 89° 54' 17" E., along last named. n6rtherly boundary a distance Of 882.149 feet to a point distant.thereon,' N. 89° 54' 17" W., 770.00· feet, from the easterly boundary of the Southwest quarter (S..W. 1/4), .of said Section 12; THENCE (4')'.Northerly parallel withtheeasterly boundary of the Southwest quarter (S. W. 1/4), of said Section 12, to intersect the southerly boundary of the North half .. (N. 1/2), of the Northhalf.(N. 1/2)., Of the Southwest quarter (S.
