RESOLUTION ANN~-XING CERTAIN TERRITCRy
DES IGNATED AS ,OSWRLL NO. 1" TO THE'
GRE~.TER BAKtRSFIE*LD SEPARATION OF'-
GRADE D ISTR ICT.
· WHEREAS~ the Council of the City of Bakersfield did on the
6th day of March, 1961~ pass its Resolution of Intention No. 22.61,
tO include certain property designated as "Oswell No, !," within the'
Greater Bakersfield Separation of. Grade Distri'ct, and-Setting the
time and place for hearing objections to th'e inclusion of said
territory within said District, and
WHeReAS, said ResOlution'of Intention was duly and legally
published once a week for two weeks, the first publication thereof
being .at least twenty days 'prior to the date of the hearing as pro-
vided by law, and
WHEREAS, Monday, the 10th day of April, 1961, at the hour of
8:00 o"C-lock P. M., was set as the time for hearing objections to the
inclusion of said territory within said District, and
'- WHEREAS, no objection has been filed. or presented to said
'Council to the inclusion of said'territory or any part thereof within
the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, and the Council
further finds that all of said territory will be benefited by its
inclusion within said District.
NOW, =THERISFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND' THE_ COUNCIL DOES HEREBY FIND:
That no objection to the inclusion of said territory or any
part thereof within the.,Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade
District, has been filed or prdsented to this Council.

territory to' the 'City of' Bakersfield, wh[ch isaid territory-is described

A parcel of land situate in the County of Kern, State of
California, and being a portion of Section 14,/Township 29
South,.Range 28 East, M. D, M,; '
Beginning at the northwest (N. W.) corner Of the southwest
quarter (S. W. 1/4)i of the northwest quarter (N.' W..1/4),
of said Section 14, a point on.the. current corporate
boundary of the City of BakerSfield, (the southwest quarter
(S. W. 1/4)~ of the northwest quarter (N, W. 1/4)~ of said
Section. 14, is hereinafter referred to as Parcel A); thence
easterly, and departing from said corporate'boUndary, along
the northerly boundary of said Parcel A to the northeast
(N. E.) corner thereof; thence southerly along the.easterly
boundary of said'Parcel A to the southeast (S. E.) corner
thereof; thence westerly along the southerly boundary of
said Parcel A, to the northeast(N. E.) corner of the west
half (W. 1/2)~ of the northwest quarter (N, W. 1/4), of
the southwest quarter (S. W, 1/4) of said Section la, (the
west half (W.' 1/2), of the northwest quarter (N. W. 1/),.
of the southwest quarter (S. W. 1/4) of said Section 14, is
hereinafter referred to as Parcel B); thence southerly
along the easterly boundary of said Parcel B, to the south-
-east (S, E,) corner thereof; thence westerly.along the
southerly boundary of said Parcel B, to the'~outhwest (S. W.)
corner thereof; thence-northerly along the westerly boundary
of said Parcel B, to the southwest (S. W,) corner of said
Parcel A, a point on the current corporate boundary of the
City of Bakersfield; thence continuing northerly ·along the
westerly boundary of said Parcel A~ on and ·along said
corporate boundary as described by Ordinance No. 1099 New
Series, to the northwest-(N. W..) corner of said Parcel A,
the point of beginning.~ containing 60 acres of land, more
or less.

· '~ I .H~REBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 10th day of April, 1961, by the following vote:
