GREATER BAKERSPIRLD S~-PARATION OF GRADR DISTRICT
CERTAIN TERRITORY DRSIGNAT~.D AS "CORONADO NO.
AND SETTING THE TIMR AND PLACE .FOR HEARING
OBJECTIONS TO THe- INCLUSION OF SAID TERRITORY
.WITHIN SAID DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, proceedings have been commenced for the annexation
of certain unincorporated territory, designated as "Coronado No. 3,"
to the City of Bakersfield, and
WHEREAS, part of said territorylies outside the Greater
Bakersfield Separation of Grade District,'.and "
WHEREAS, Section· 8290'of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California, provides that the unincorporated territory of
county which was not included within:a.separ'ation of grade district
at the time of the formation of such district,'and which 'subsequent
to the formation of such district is annexed to or otherwise.lncluded
within a city which is a part of such district, shall' immediately
upon such annexation to such city be included wi. thin the district and
shall thereafter become a part of the district to the same extent as
such city; except such portion or portions'thereof'which theCity
Council has determined, will not bebenefited by inclusion in the
diistrict.
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT R~SOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, as follows:
1. That said unincorporated territory'is.described as

ration of Grade District" as adopted June 29, 1954, by the
Board of Supervisors of Kern County, California, as recorded
June 29, 1954, in Book 98, at page 156, Official Minutes of

Parcel 18: "All of that part of the North half of the South
half of the Southwest'quarter of Section 12, Township 30
South, Range 27 East, M.D.B. & M., described as follows:
Commencing on the northerly line of the North one-half of
the South one-half of the Southwest quarter of Section' 12,

of the Northwest corner thereof, and running thence'South
and parallel with-the West line of said .Section 12 a distance
of 660 feet; thence, Bast and parallel with the quarter

of the South one-half of the Southwest quarter'of said'
Section 12; thence, North and parallel with the west line
of said Section 12 a distance of 660 feet; 'thence, West and
parallel with the quarter section line to point of

South, Range 27 Bast, M.D.B. & M., described as follows:
Commencing on the southerly.line of the North one.half of
the South one-half of the Southwest quarter of Section 12,
Township 30 South, Range 27 Bast, M.D.B. & M., 1056'feet
Bast of the Southwest corner thereof,-and running thence
North and parailel with the West line of said Section 12 a
distance of 330 feet; thence,'Bast and parallel with the
quarter section line a distance of-'1056 feet; thence, South
and parallel with the West line of said Section 12 a distance'
of 330 feet; thence, West and paraI.lel. with the quarter
section line' to point of beginning."
