REAL PROPERTY WITHIN TERRITCRY DESIGNATED AS "CORONADO N0. 3," P~OPOSED TO B]~ .ANNEXED TO'THe. CITY OP BAKERSP IELD, CALIPORNIA. WHEREAS, a petition was filed with' the Council of the City of. Bakersfield on ~he21st day of March, 1961, requesting that certain uninhabited territory therein described be annexed to and incorporated within the City of Bakersfield, and .. WHEREAS, said petition was signed.by the owners.of all of the l~erritory/proposed to be annexed. NOW, THEREPORE, in compliance with the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act-of 1939,'Chapter 297, as amended, BB IT RESOLVED by the Council.of the City of 'Bakersfield, as' · ][ollows: That the boundaries of the territory so proposed.tobe annexed 'to the City of Bakersfield are described as follows: · A parcel of land situate in the County of Kern, State Of'California, and being a'portion of the North half (N..1/2), of .the South half (S. 1/2), of the.-Southwest quarter (S. W~ 1/4), of Section 12, Township · ' 30 South, Range 27 East, M. D. M.: BEGINNING at the Northeast (N. E.) corner'of the South half (S. 1/2), of the South half (S. 1/2), of the Southwest quarter (S.' W. 1/4), of' said Section 12, a point on the current corporate boundary of the.City of Bakersfield, said point of .beginning also being the Northeast (N. E.)corner of TRACT NO. 2438, as per map 'recorded November 17, 1960, in Book11 of Maps at page 134, in the office of the County.Recorder of saidKern County; THENCE (1) N. 89°'53' 44"' W., along the northerly boundary of said TRACT NO. 2438, on and along the corporate boundary of the City0f Bakersfield as same is defined by Ordinance No. 1327 New Series', a distance'of 1652.118 feet to a point, distant.S. 89° 53' 44" E., 996.00 feet, from the westerly boundary. of the Southwest quarter (So W. 1/4),' of said Section 12;_ . . ................................ . ........ ~ ................... : ......... ¢ THF:NCE (2') N. 0° 01' 52" W., along a line :parall'el with the westerly ' boundary of the Southwest quarter (S. W. 1/4) of Section 12, on and a~ong the corporate boundary of the City.'.of Bakersfield as same.is defined by said Ordinance No. 1327 New Series, a distance of 648.398 feet to the Northeast (N. E.) corner of the South half (S. 1/2), of.the South half· (S. 1/2), of the Southwest quarter (S. W. 1/4), of said. Section 12, the point of beginning, containing 25.054 acres of land more or less. That a designation appropriately naming such territory is "CORONADO NO. 3." BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Monday, the 1st day of May,.1961, at the hour of eight o'clock P. M.', in ~he Council.Chambers of the City Hall~ 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California, is the time 'when and the place where-any person!owning real property within such territory so proposed to 'be annexed and having any objections to the pro'posed annexation may appear·before the Council of the City of Bakersfield and show caus, why such territory should not be annexed. ..... o0o .....
