RESOLUTION ANNEXING CERTAIN .TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS "COLLEGE HEIGHTS NO. 10"
TO THE GREATER BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION.
OF GRADE DISTRICT.
=WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did, on the
14th day of February, 1961, pass itsResolution of Intention No. 14-61,
to include certain property designated as ".College Heights No. 10,"
within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, and
setting the time and place for hearingobjections to. the inclusion
of said territory within said District, and
WHEREAS,. said Resolution of IntentiOn was duly an~ legally
'published once a week for two weeks, the first-publication thereof
being.at least twenty days prior to the date-of the hearing as pro-
vided by law,.and
WH~.REAS, Monday, the 20th day of Mardh, 1961-, at 'the hour of
8:00 o'6lock P. M., was set as the time for hearing objections to the
inclusion of said territory within said District, and
WHEREAS, no objection-has been filed or presented to said
Council to the inclusion of said territory or any pkrt thereof within
the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, and the Counci-1
.further finds that all of said' territory will'be benefited by its
inclusionswithin said District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND THE COUNCIL DOES HEREBY FIND:
That no objection to the inclusion of said territory or any
~part thereof within the Greater Bakersfield Separa'tion of Grade
]District, has been,filed or presented to this Council.

as followS:,
A parcel of land situate in the County of Kern, State of
California, and being a portion of the southeast quarter
(S. E. 1/4) of Section 15, Township 29 South, Range 28
East, M. D. M.:
Beginning at the northwest' (N. W. ).corner of the northeast
quarter (N.E. 1/4), of the southeast quarter (S..E. 1/4),
of said Section 15, a point on the current corporate boundary
of 'the City of Bakersfield; thence easterly.-along the
northerly boundary of the Southeast quarter (S. E. 1/4) of
said Section 15, on and along said corporate boundary as
described by Ordinance No. 1099 New Series, to the northeast
(N. E. ) corner of the southeastquarter (S.. E. 1/4).of said
Section 15; thence S. 0° 00' 35" E.,.along the easterly
boundary of said Section 15, as,per map of TRACT NO. 1986,
recorded-March 19, 1959, in'Book 10 of. Maps at page 115,
the office of the County Recorder of said Kern County and
departing from said corporate.boundary, a distance of 932.45
feet to a point from which the radial center of the following
described curve bears S. 89° 59' 25" W., distant 1000.00
feet; thence southwesterly alongsaid'curve,concave. to the
northwest with a radius of 1000 feet,. through a Central angle
.. of 44°'i3' 24", a distance of 771.84 feet to a point of
tangency, from which the radial center of last named curve
bears N. 45° 47' 11" W., distant 1000.00 feet; thence S. 44o
12' 49"' W., along said tangent a distance of 1017.74 feet
to the..most easterly corner of TRACT NO. 2322, as per map
recorded July 1, 1960, in Book'll of Maps at page 93, in the
Office of the said County Recorder, a point on the current
corporate boundary of'theCity of'Bakersfield; thence N. 45°
47' 11" W., along the northeasterly boundary of said TRACT
NO. 2322, on and along said corporate boundary as described
,. byOrdinance No. 1291 New Series, a'distance of .849.00 feet
,. to intersect a line, said line being the southeasterly
boundary of "SIEMON PARK" as said "SIEMON PkRK" was annexed
to the City of Bakersfield'by that certain resolution
entitled "Order for annexation of contiguous territory owned
by City of Bakersfield to the Cityof ,Bakersfield, designated
as 'SI~MON PARK"' adopted March 15,-1960, by the,Board of
Supervisors of said Kern County and recorded March 15, 1960,
in Book 137, at page 410, Official Minutes of said Board;

thence N. 44 12~ 49" E., along last named southeasterly
boundary a distance of 581.391' feet to intersect the
northerly boundary of the southeast quarterA(S. E~l/4), of
the southeast quarter (S.-E.=!/4), of.said Section 15;
thence N. 45° 47' 11" W., along the corporate boundary of
said City as described by Ordinance No. 1292 New' Series, a
distance of 45.00 feet to a point from which theradial center
of the following described curve bears N. 44° 12' 49" ~.,

concave to the northeast with a radius of 544.15 feet, a

quarter (S. E. 1/4), of said Section 15, a point of non-
tangency, from which the radial center of said last named
curve bears N. 59° 49' 37"E., distant 544.15 feet; thence
northerly along last named westerl'y,:boundary on an. alo'ng
.the corporate boundary of said City as described by Ordinance
No. 11.70 New Series, to the northwest (N. W.) Corner o'f..the
northeast quarter (N. E. 1/4) of the southeast quarter
(S. E. 1/4), of said Section ~5, the.point of beginning,'
containing 59.4857 acres of land, more or less.
