INTER- SECTING STREETS.BET~EEN. THE NORTH_BOUNDARY OF THE SOUTHE~N PACIFIC ASPHALT0 BRANCH RIGHT-OF-WAY AND THE NORT~. LIE OF 10TH STREET WITHIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO, 737 IN SAID CITY WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield did adopt Resolution of Intention No. 737a for the improvement of Lakeview Avenue and t~e intersection of all intersecting streets between the North Boundary of the Southern Pacific Asphalto Branch Right-Of-Way and the North line of 10th Street in Public Improvement District No. 737~ and WHEREAS, pursuant to.proceedings had and taken by said City Council under said Resolution of Intention No. 737a, a contract was entered into by and between PHOENIX CONSTNGCTION CO., as contractor and H. E. BERGEN as Superintendent of Streets of said City for the ~onstruction of said improvements, ~nd WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets prepared, signed and filed with the City Clerk his assessment covering the costs and expense of the construction of said improveme~s, and WHEREAS, notice of the filing of said assessment has been duly and regularly given by publication, posting and mailing, as required by law, and t~ said notice fixed the ~3~ day of ~~ , 1961, at the hour of eight (8:00) o'clock p.m., and the Chambers of the City Council, located in the City Hall in the City of Bakersfield, as the time and place when and where all persons interested in the work done or in the assess- ~ent~'~would b.e heard by the s~id_,Ci~y ,C~uncil, and ...... NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FiND AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: That after a fair and impartial hearing having been granted to all persons desiring to be heard in the matter of the said improvements, described as aforesaid, in Public Improvement District No. 737, and all objections presented, having ~een heard and fully considered, and the City Council being satisfied with the correctness and fairness of'the assessment and diagram, it is hereby~determined that all appeals or objections be overruled and denied and that the assessment and diagram, together with the proceedings, be confirmed and approved and that the Superintendent of Streets shall forth- with attach a warrant to the said assessment bearing the date of this resolution to the City Council. I HEREBY CERTI~Y that the foregoing resolution was duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, on the 13thday of March 1961, by the following vote: YOEjS ~.;.
