~IEREAS, on the 23rd day of January, 1961, th'e. Council of the
City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the t'Public"Service
"being Sections 50430 to 50445, inclusive, of
]~-asements Vacation Law,.
~he Government Code of the State of California, passed and adopted
:its Resolution of Intention No. 760, ordering. the vacation of a
public service'easement, also referred~to herein as'a.public utilities
easement~'.beinga.portion of the northwest quarter (No W. 1/4)~ of
the southeast quarter (S. ~. 1/4), of Section I'2~ Township 30 South,
]Range 27 ~ast, M. D. ~., in Tract No. 2303, situated in the City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, and
. WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and. place for hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation, which
said hearing Was held on the 27th day of February,'1961, after notices
were duly.published and posted aS required by law~ and
WttER~AS, this Council.after duly Considering the matter, does
hereby find and resolve as follows: ,,
1. 'That said public service easement .also referred to herein
as a public utilities easement, hereinafter described, is unnecessary
for.present or prospective/public use:
All of that certain"~Public'Utilities Easement,~ five (5)
feet in width, two and one-half (2.5) feet on each side of
that lot line common to Lots 6 and. 7, as per map of TRACT
NO,~ 2303~ recorded November 5, 1959~ in Book ll'of Maps-at
page 9, in the office'of the County Recorder of said Kern
County·
.... :'~2, That'.~aid phblic Sei~i~e easement-be .and the. same is hereby
vacated and abandoned for public service easement purposes, 'subject
to andin conformity with said'ResolutiOn of Intent'ion No. 760.
B~eference to said Resolution of Int-enti0-n"iS! hereby made for further
particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of' this. Resolu-
tion, and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested.by the Clerk
under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the .officeof 'the County

I HEREBY CERTIPY that the foregoing Resolution was pass.ed and
adopted by the Council of .the' City of Bakers£ield at..a regular meeting
