WHE1BAS, a petition was filed.with the Council of .the City of Bakersfield on the 10th day of Pebruary, 196i, requesting that certain uninhabited territory therein described be annexed tO and incorporated within the City of Bakersfield,-.and W HE tEAS, said petition was signed by the owners of all of the · territory proposed to be annexed. .' . NOW,.THEREPORE, in compliance. with the provisions of the · Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of.1939, Chapter 297, as amended,~BE. IT RESOLVED by the Council of theCity of Bakersfi:~Id;' as' follows: .. . That the boundaries'of the territory so proposed to, be annexed -'to the City of Bakersfield are described as follows: · A parcelDf land situate in the County.of Kern, State of California, and being a portion-of the southeast quarter (S. E. 1/4) of Section 15, Township 29 South., Range 28 East, M.D.M.: v Beginning at the northwest ('N- w.) corner of the'northeast quarter (N. E.'l/4), of the southeast quarter (S. E. 1/4), of said Section 15, a point on the current corporate boundary· of the City of Bakersfield; thence easterly along the northerly boundary of the southeast'quarter.(S. E. 1/4),.of said Section ' 15,.on and along said corporate boundary.as described by Ordi- nance No. 1·099 New Series, to the northeast (.N.E.) corner of the southeast quarter (S.
