A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CONTRACT N0.1-61.
. WHEREAS, 'the City of Bakersfield and LAURENCE W. BEILENSON
and GERDA M. BEILENSON, called "BeilensOn", and 'LAURENCE W. BEILENSON,
GERDA M. BE!LENSON, CHOTINER & GUMBIER GENERAL CONTRACTORS, a .
California corporatioh, JOSEPH B. FORD and MARJORIE HENSHAW FORD,
THOMAS L. DUQUE and 'JANE H. DUQUE, and L0CKWOOD J. HALES and MYRTLE
L. HALES, called "Tract Owners" are desirous of entering into a
contract whereby "BeilensOn" 'and 'M:ayfair Markets shall have the right,
under certain terms and conditions, to connect to and use the sewer
of City in connection with the ~ development of Tract 2385· in the County
of Kern, State of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by 'the 'Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
.That the Mayor of the City of Bakersfield is hereby authorized
to execute that certain contrac~ No. 1-61 dated the 10th day·of
January, '1961, by and be tween the 'City of Bake'rsfield, a municipal
corporation, therein de signated. as "City" and ·LAURENCE W. BEILENSON
and GERDA M. BEILENSON, therein designated as "Beilenson" and
LAURENCE W. BEILENSON, GERDA.M. BEILENSON, CHOTINER& GUMBINER
GENERAL CONTRACTORS, a California Corporation, JOSEPH B. FORD and
MARJORIE HENSHAW FORD, THOMAS L. DUQUE and JANE· H. DUQUE, and LOCKWOOD
Ji HALES .and MYRTLE L. HALES, therein called ',Tract Owners".
I EREBY CERTIFY' that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular
meeting thereof held on th~ 30th day. of January, 1961, by the
following vote:
