RESOLUTION OP INTENTION TO 'INCLUDE WITHIN THE
GREATER BAKBRSPIELDSEPARATION OP'GRADE DISTRICT
CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "COLLEGE HEIGHTS
NO. 9", AND SETTING THE TIME. AND PLACE POR HEAR-
ING'OBJECTIONS TO THE. INCLUSION OP SAID TERRITORY.
WITHIN. SAID DISTRICT.. '
WHEREAS, proceedings have been commenced for the annexation
of certain unincorporated territory, designated as "College Heights
No. 9", to the City'of Bakersfield, and.
WHEREAS', all of said territory lies outside the'Greater
Bakersfield Separation of Grade Distr'ict,, and
I~IEREAS, Section 8290 of the S~reets and HighWays Code of 'the
State of California, provides that the unincorporated territory of'a
county which was not included within a separation of grade district
at the time./of theformation of such district, and which subsequent
to the formation of such district is annexed to or Otherwise included
within'a cityWhich is a part of such district, Shall immediately
upon such annexation to such city be included within't,he district and
shall thereafter become a part'of the district to the same'extent as'
such city'; except such portion or portions thereof which .the City
Council has determined, will no't'be benefited by inclusion-in the
district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED' by-the Council Of the City of
Bakersfield, as follows: .
1'.' That a description of .the unincorporated territory
described in the annexation proceedings, is as follows:
A parcel of land situate in the .County of Kern, State of
California, and being a portion of Section 15, Township'29

Beginning at the southeast (S. E.) corner Of-said Section
15; thence N. '0° 00' 35" W.,along.the easterly boundary of
