OPENING AND CLOSING· OP POLLS FOR THE
MUNICIPAL NOMINATING ELECTION TO. BE
HElD IN THE CITY 'OF-BAKERSFIElD .AND FOR
AN ELECTION TO BE HElD'IN THE BAKERS-
FIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT ON THE '28th DAY
, OF FEBRUARY, 1961.
WHEREAS, a municipal nominating-election Will be held 'in the
.City of Bakersfield on the 28th day'of.~ebruary, 1961; for the'
purpose of filling' the office .of councilman for the full term of four
years as prescribed therefor. by the Charter of the, Ci.ty of Bakersfield,

THIRD WARD
POURTH WARD
SEVENTH WARD
of the City of Bakersfield, and ...
'WHEREAS, an. election will be'held in the Bakersfield ·School
District for the purpose'of electing 'twomembers'of the Board Of
Education of said'School District for the full term'of four ye'ars.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of'the City of
Bakersfield that the polls.will be.held. 6pen for'the purpose of
]~olding said elections on'said 28th 'day of February, 196!.~ between
t'he hours of 7:00 A.M. and 7:00 P'M. ' :
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing.Resolution,was passed
and adopted by the .Council .of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
_meeting thereof heldon the 3rd dayof January , 196___1, by the
