A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 845.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
that Resolution of Intention No. 845 be amended to read as follows:
The Council of the City of Bakersfield, California,
*pursuant to the 'provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941"
being Sections 8300, et seq., of Division 9, Part 3 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, does hereby resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the Council of
the City of Bakersfield to order the vacation of the alley in
Block 485 situate in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State
of California, described as follows:
The alley in Block 485, City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California as shown
on the Map of the City of Bakersfield, Kern
C~unty, California recorded November 21, 1898
in the Office of the County Recorder of Kern
County.
For further particulars as to the pro'posed vacation,
reference is hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Bakersfield, in the City Hall, 1501 Truxtun
Avenue, Bakersfield, California.
SECTION 2. That the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., of the
10th day of November, 1969, in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California, be and the same
is hereby fixed as the time and ~place when and where all persons
interested in or objecting to the pro'posed vacation may ap'pear
before the Council and offer evidence in relation thereto.
SECTION 3. That the Superintendent of Streets of the
City of Bakersfield, California, be and he is hereby directed to
cause "Notice of Street Vacation" to be posted as required by said
'~'Street Vacation Act of 1941", being Division 9, Part 3 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and the
Council of said City hereby elects to 'proceed under the 'provisions
of said Act.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the 'passage
of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be 'posted on the
bulletin board at the City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, in the City
of Bakersfield, California, within fifteen' (15) days a"fter its
passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adapted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of October, 1969, by
the following vote:
