A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST
HAS NOT BEEN MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRI-
TORY DESIGNATED AS "SAN DIMAS NO. 3" PROPOSED
TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Government Code of the State
of California, Sections 34300 and following, proceedings have been
instituted for the annexation of certain territory designated as
"San Dimas No. 3", and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such proceedings a petition was
signed and filed for such annexation, a resolution adopted
describing boundaries of the territory sought to be annexed, publi-
cations had on said resolution and a time adopted for hearing of
protests from persons owning real property in said territory,
and
WHEREAS, a hearing was duly held in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall in the City of Bakersfield on the 15th day of
September, 1969, at the hour of eight o'clock p.m. pursuant to
notices given in compliance with law, and
WHEREAS, September 15, 1969, at the hour of 8:00 P. M. was
the time set for hearing protests by any person owning property
within the aforesaid territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the

City of Bakersfield as follows:
That at the time set for hearing protests to the proposed
annexation and at the time to which said hearing was held a majority
protest has not been made by private owners of one-half the value
of the territory proposed to be annexed as shown .by~ the last
equalized assessment roll, or by public and private owners equal
to one-half of the value of said territory, said property being
designated as "San Dimas No. 3" and more particularly described in
Resolution 76-69 of the City of Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of September, 1969,
by the following vote:
