A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD MAKING APPLICATION TO THE OFFICE
OF PROCUREMENT, DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL
SERVICES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA.TO PURCHASE
CREDIT CARD SERVICE.
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield does hereby authorize the Office of Procurement, Depart-
ment of General Services of the State of California to purchase
Credit Card Service for and on behalf of the City of Bakersfield
pursuant to Section 14814, Government Code, and that D. L. HAYNES,
Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed to sign and
deliver all necessary requests and other documents in connection
therewith for and on behalf of the City of Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
'passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of Se'ptember, 1969, by
the following vote:
