A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
BAKERSFIELDAMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 65-69
PERTAINING TO THE AWARDING OF THE CONTRACT
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE STINE ROAD-
MCCUTCHEON ROAD INTERCEPTOR SEWER.
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of June, 1969 the City Council
of the City of Bakersfield passed its Resolution No. 65-69; and
WHEREAS, said resolution set forth the conditionally
awarding of the contract to Merco Construction Engineers, Inc. for
the construction of the Stine Road- McCutcheon Road Interceptor
Sewer; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to award said
contract'without the condition as set forth in Resolution No. 65-69.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
Resolution No. 65-69 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are true and correct.
2. That said City Council does hereby reject all of
said bids except as herein mentioned and does hereby award the
contract for the construction of the Stine Road-McCutcheon Road
Interceptor Sewer to the lowest regular responsible bidder, to wit,
Merco Construction Engineers, Inc. at the prices and under the
terms and conditions named in the bid of said bidder.
3. That no other bidders are involved in the perform-
ance of this contract so that the base bid of $489,803.40 is the
total proposed award.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
special meeting thereof held on the 30th day of June, 1969, by
the following vote:
