RESOLUTION OF CONDITIONAL AWARD OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
CONDITIONALLY AWARDING THE CONTRACT TO
ARB, INCORPORATED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk by direction of the City
Council did in open session on the 16th day of June, 1969, publicly
open, examine and declare all sealed bids for the construction of
the Water Pollution Control Facility, and
WHEREAS, of the five bids duly considered by said City
Council, it appears to said Council that the lowest regular
responsible bidder for doing the work is ARB, Incorporated; and
WHEREAS, said work is being constructed under Public
Law 84-660 and thereby necessitates the conditioning of this award
upon the concurrence of The Federal Water Pollution Control
Administration and the Division of Water Quality Control of the State
of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are true and correct.
2. That said City Council does hereby reject all of
said bids except as herein mentioned and does hereby award the
contract for the doing of said work to the lowest regular
responsible bidder; to wit, ARB, Incorporated, at the prices and
under the terms and conditions named in the bid of said bidder,
conditioned upon the concurrence in said award by The Federal Water
Pollution Control Administration and the Division of Water Quality
Control of the State of California.
3. That no other bidders are~ i~v01ved' in the p~rform-
ance of this contract so that the base bid of $127,497.00 is the
total proposed award.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of June, 1969, by the
following vote:
