RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF
PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, ESTIMATES OF COST,
DISTRICT MAP, AND DIAGRAM IN THE MATTER OF
THE PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 839.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
found and determined that more than sixty percent (607°) of the
owners of the property, subject to the assessment herein, signed
and filed a written petition requesting the improvement work
hereinafter described as evident of Resolution No. 59-69
adopted by said Council on the 16th day of June, 1969; and
WHEREAS, said City Council proposes to adopt its
Resolution of Intention expressing its intention to undertake
proceedings under the Improvement Act of 1911, for the construc-
tion of said improvements requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that the City Engineer of said City be and is
hereby ordered and directed to prepare the estimates of cost,
diagram, map of the district to be benefited, and the plans and
specifications for the following improvement work and construction
to be done in said City of Bakersfield, to wit:
The construction of curbs, gutters, sidewalks,
driveway approaches and necessary pavement
replacement adjacent to Lot 1 through 87 all
in Tract No. 1238 in the vicinity of Gorrill
Street, Potomac Avenue and Robinson Street in
the City of Bakersfield, California.
All of the above improvement work and construction shall
be of the size and dimension, and will be done in the manner and
places and to the grade shown and indicated on the plans and
specifications hereinafter to be approved and adopted by the City
Council of 'the City of Ba~ersfield~'

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of June, 1969,
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN BLEECKER, HEISEY, REES, RUCKER, STIERN, VETTER, WHITTEMORE
