RESOLUTION OF CONDITIONAL AWARD OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
CONDITIONALLY AWARDING THE CONTRACT TO
REEDMARC CORPORATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF A SANITARY SEWER TO SERVE THE
SOUTHWEST BAKERSFIELD AREA.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk by direction of the City
Council did in open session on the 3rd day of June, 1969,
publicly open, examine and declare all sealed bids for the
construction of the sanitary sewer in Southwest Bakersfield, and
WHEREAS, of the six bids duly considered by said City
Council; it appears to said Council that the lowest regular
responsible bidder for doing the work is Reedmarc Corporation;
and
WHEREAS, said work is being constructed under HUD
Project No. WS-6-050301 and thereby necessitates the conditioning
of this award upon the concurrence of HUD's Regional Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are true and correct.
2. That said City Council does hereby reject all of
said bids except as herein mentioned and does hereby award the
contract for the doing of said work to the lowest regular
responsible bidder, to wit; Reedmarc Corporation, at the prices
and under the terms and conditions named in the bid of said
bidder, conditioned upon the concurrence in said award by HUD's
Regional Office.
3. That no other bidders are involved in the perfor-
mance of this contract so that the base bid of $609,548.91 is
the total proposed award.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers field at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of June, 1969, by the
following vote:
