RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA PROVIDING FOR
CONTRIBUTIONS OF PART OF THE COST OF
EXPENSES OF CERTAIN WORK COMPLETED IN
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 827.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of
Bakersfield, California, has heretofore made and filed with the
City Clerk, an assessment and diagram for that certain work done
under and pursuant to the Improvement Act of 1911 (commencing at
Section 5000, Streets and Highways Code), and in Resolution of
In~ention No. 827; and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of this City Council, it is
desirable to provide for a contribution by said City of a part of
the cost of expenses of said work.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1
A contribution in the amount of twenty thousand twenty-two
dollars and seven cents ($20,022.07) towards the cost of the expense
of said work is hereby provided for and ordered to be made by the
City of Bakersfield. Said amount shall be deducted from the total
cost of expense of said work and the remainder of said cost and
expense shall be assessed upon the several lots and parcels of land
within Assessment District No. 827.
SECTION 2.
Said contribution shall be paid from the funds of said
City and shall be applied as an offset against the amount of
incidental expenses due and payable by c6ntractor or his assigns.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of April, 1969, by
the following vote:
