RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A CONTRIBUTION
BY THE COUNTY OF KERN AND PROVIDING
FOR A CONTRIBUTION BY THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD.
-(Public Improvement District No. 801-A,
White Lane and Hughes Lane)
WHEREAS, in proceedings under the Municipal Improvement
Act of 1913 the City Council adopted Resolution of Intention
No. 801-A providing for a contribution by the city of a
portion of the costs and expenses of the proposed work
described in said resolution and the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Kern by resolution adopted on November 19,
1968 provided for a contribution by said county of a portion
of such costs andsexpenses, the amounts of both such con-
tributions being determined in accordance with the provisions of
Section 4 of said resolution of intention; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 15-69.~ adopted by the City
Council on January 13, 1969 changed the aggregate contribution
to be made by said city and said county from $209,6!8.06 to
$ 159.034.77
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby accepts a
contribution by the County of-Kern in the sum of $ 12,039.98
toward the costs and expenses of said work. Upon receipt
_of.said contribution, the City .Treasurer shall deposit ~the
same in the Treasury. in a special improvement fund for
Public Improvement District No. 801-A.

Section 2. The City of Bakersfield. hereby provides
for a contribution toward the costs and expenses of said
work in the sum of $ i46,994.79 . Said sum shall be
transferred from the S'~ecial Gas Tax Street Inlprovement
Fund in the Treasury to the credit of said special improvement
fund.
Section 3. Said contributions and other moneys in said
special improvement fund shall be expended in accordance with
the Municipal Improvement Act of'1913.
