RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING
CHANGES IN THE ASSESSMENT AND THE PROPOSED
CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
AND THE COUNTY OF KERN.
(Public Improvement District No. 801-A,
White Lane and Hughes Lane)
WHEREAS, in proceedings under the Municipal Improvement
Act of 1913 (commencing with SeCtion 10000, Streets and
Highways Code) the City Council adopted resolution of
intention, Resolution No. 801-A, ordering the City Engineer
to prepare the Report required by said Act and, pursuant
thereto, the City Engineer has prepared said Report,
consisting of plans and specifications describing the
proposed acquisitions and improvements, an estimate of the
costs and expenses of said acquisitions and improvements, a
diagram showing the assessment district and a proposed
assessment of the costs and expenses of the proposed
acquisitions and improvements, said Report being on file
with the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 109-68
appr0ving said Report, as filed, and appointing a time and
place of hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS,. the City Council adopted Resolution No. 110-68
inviting bids for the construction of the proposed improvements
and also inviting bids for the purchase of bonds to be issued
to represent unpaid assessments, such bids to be received and
opened prior to the time of said hearing; and
WHEREAS, the best responsible bids for construction
and for the purchase of the bonds are such that the costs and

expenses. of the proposed improvement will be less than that
estimated by the City Engineer, as set forth in said Report,
and the City Council deems it desirable to decrease the
amounts of individual assessments, the amount of the
proposed contributions of the City of Bakersfield and .the
County of Kern and the total amount of the assessment.
-NOW~ THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby orders the'following
.changes:
(a) The assessment shall be modified and the amounts
of the individual assessments and the total amount of the
assessment changed and decreased in accordance with
Exhibit A of the "SCHEDULE OF CHANGES" attached hereto and
made a part hereof and.the Superintendent of Streets is
authorized and directed to'change the diagram and assessment,
as filed with the City Clerk, in conformance therewith.
(b) The contributions proposed to be made by the City
of Bakersfield and the County of Kern shall be changed in
'accordance with said "SCHEDULE OF CHANGES,"
ADOPTED this lOth day of
February , 1969.

SCHEDULEOF CHANGES
1., The front sheet of the assessment shall be changed as
follows:
a. The sum to be assessed on the several subdivisions
of land in the district shall be changed from$530,:262.00 to
$4'46,792..10.
b. The total costs and expenses of the'acquisition and
improvement shall be changed from $739,880.00 to $605,826.87..
c. The amount to be contributed bythe City of Bakersfield
and the County of Kern shall be changed from $209,618].00 to
.$159,034..77..
2. The amounts assessed .against individual parcels'or subd'iv.~-.
sions of land within the district shall bechanged from.the'amounts.shown in
the assessment to the revised amounts as shown on "Exhibit "A" attached
