A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD DESIGNATING CERTAIN DAYS AS HOLIDAYS
FOR ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
DURING CALENDAR YEAR 1969.
WHEREAS, Section 3.18.180 of the Bakers field Municipal
Code provides that the City Council shall approve holidays designated
by the City Manager for each calendar year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakers field that the holidays for employees of the City of
Bakersfield for Calendar Year 1969 are as follows:
New Years Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Columbus Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
January 1, 1969
May 30, 1969
July 4, 1969
September 1, 1969
October 12, 1969
November 11, 1969
November 27, 1969
December 25, 1969

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the. foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of January, 1969, by
the following vote:
