RESOLUTION ANNEXING TO THE GREATER
BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF GRADE DISTRICT
THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIG-
NATED AS "AUBURN NO. 1" NOT ALREADY IN-
CLUDED WITHIN SAID DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did, on
the 25th day of November, 1968, pass its Resolution of Intention
No. 107-68, to include within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of
Grade District that portion of certain territory designated as
"Auburn No. 1" not already included within said District, and did
set the time and place for hearing objections to the inclusion of
said territory within said District; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly and
legally published once. a week for two weeks, the first publication
thereof being at least twenty days prior to the date of the
hearing as provided by law, and
WHEREAS, Monday, the 6th day of January, 1969, at the
hour of 8:00 P.M., was set as the time for hearing objections to the
inclusion of said territory within said District; and
WHEREAS, no objection has been filed or presented to
said Council to the inclusion of said territory or any part thereof
within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, and
the Council further finds that all of said territory will be
benefited by its inclusion within said District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND THE COUNCIL DOES
HEREBY FIND:
That no objection to the inclusion of said territory or
any part ~hereof within the Greater Ba~ersfie!d Separation of Grade
District, has been filed or presented to this Council.
That said territory and every part thereof be, and the
same is hereby annexed to and included within the said Greater
Bakersfield Separation of G~ade District upon completion of annex-
ation of said territory to the City of Bakersfield, which said
territory is described as follows:
A parcel of land situate in the County of Kern, State of California,
and being a portion of Section 13 and 14, Township 29 South, Range
28 East, MDB&M and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of E~ of Southwest ~ of said
Section 14, said Southwest corner being a point on the corporate
boundary of the City of Bakersfield as defined by Ordinance No. 1452,
New Series;
Thence (1) Easterly along the South line of said Sections 14 and 13
to intersect the East line of the W~ of the SE~ SW~ f said

Thence (2) Northerly along the last named East line to intersect
the North line of the S~ of the SW~ of said Section 13;
Thence (3) Westerly along the last named North line to intersect

Thence (4) Northerly along the last named East line to the Northeast
corner of the last named parcel;
Thence (5) Westerly along the North line of the last named parcel
and the North line of that certain parcel of land as described in
that certain deed filed April 14, 1964, in Book 3715, Page 217,
Official Records of said Kern County to the Northwest corner of
last named parcel, said Northwest corner being on the East line of
the W~ of the SE~ of said Section 14;
Thence (6) Northerly along the last named East line to intersect
the North line of the South 415 feet of the NW~4 of the SE~ of said
Section 14;
Thence (7) Westerly along the last named North line to intersect
the West line of the East 691 feet of the W~ of the SE~
2 ~ of the said
Section 14;
Thence (8) Southerly along the last named West line to intersect
the North line of the SW~ of the SE~ of said Section 14;
Thence (9) Westerly along the last named North line and the North
line of the SE~ of the SW~ of said Section 14 to intersect the
East line of the W~ of the NE~ of the SW~ of said Section 14;
Thence (10) Northerly along the last namedNW~ast line to intersect

section being a point on the corporate boundary of the City of
Bakersfield as defined by Ordinance No. 1382, New Series;
Thence (12) Southerly along the last named East line, being also
along the corporate boundary of the City of Bakersfield as defined
by Ordinance Nos. 1382 and 1452, to the point of beginning.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of January, 1969, by
the following vote:
