A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 68-64.
WHEREAS, experience has dictated that there be a-change
in Resolution No. 68-64 respecting ticket service in the ·Civic
Auditorium,
· NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDby·the Council of the City
of Bakersfield that Resolution No. 68-'64 be and the same is hereby
amended.to read as follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED-by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield that, when requested, the City of Bakersfield shall,
by means of Civic Auditorium personnel, sell advance tickets for a
minimum fee of sixty dollars ($60.00) for a six-day period (Which
includes the day of the event'). Said sixty dollar fee to include
the services of.one ticket seller. Additional personnel furnished
by the City on special request to be compensated. to t~e City at the
rate of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per· hour per ticket
seller.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event' that a sponsor
or promoter of an event held at the Civi~ Auditorium·, elects not
to use the advance ticket sales ·service of the Civic Auditorium,
the box 6ffice at .the Civic Auditorium'may be rented at the rate
of two' dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour with a minimum
charge of $10.00 per day for a period in advance of the event,
operational'hours and days to be determined by the Civic Auditorium
Manager. The rental fee in such case shall not include box office

use of the box office.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all tickets Sold at the.
~uditorium ·box office for events not heldat the Civic Auditorium
will be charged 5% of gross sales revenue received by auditorium
.box office, such fee not to exceed a ·total of $150.00 for each event.
BE IT'FURTHER.RESOLVED that regular box office hours,
when operated under the provisions of this resolution,'will be
'maintained between9:00'A.M.'and 5:00 P.M., Mondays through
Saturdays, excluding City holidays; and that on the'date of the
promoter's event, the box'office will remain open.continuously. from
9:00 A.M. until one hour after.the opening time of the event.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the. foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the3rd day of September, 1968, by
the following vote:
