REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVI'SORS OF .THE .COUNTY OF ,..
. KERN TO PERMIT THE COUNTY CLERK TO RENDER SPECIFIED
SERVICES TO SAID CITY RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF THE
SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 5,
1968 : ,
PursUant to Section 22003' of the Elections Code-of the
State of California, the Council of the City of Bakersfiel'd does ..
hereby RESOLVE, as follows: : · .- .-
'.7 1. .'That the Board of'Supervisors of the'Coun·ty of'Kern,
State of'-'Cal{fornia, is 'hereby'requested to permit the County Clerk
of. said .County to perform.'ail services necessary for the.City '~f' -'.
Bakers field relating to the conduct' of the Special Municipal Election
to be held in said city on November 5, 1968, .including but. not limited

(a)' Prepare and send out·. appointments to election offi'cers
for each precinct for the Special Municipal EleCtion and'rmake".any
substitutions necessary. :..
(b)-Publish list of names 'Of 'the'election Officers "
appointed and 'the polling places .designated. for each election pre-'
cinct. Such·designated City officers are tO be designated as such
on County Cierk's publication. ' ':
