OF BAKERSFIELD ,REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTy OF:KERN' TO ORDER:
T. HE CONSOLIDATION 0F. A SPECIAL MUNICIPALI
ELECTION WITH THE STATE GENERAL. ELECTION
TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 5,~. 1968., AND SETTING
FORTH 'THE EXACT FORM .OF THE~ ·PROPOSITIONS 'TO
BE VOTED ON AT SUCH ELECTION,~AS THE SAME
ARE .TO APPEAR ON 'THE BALLOT'. " ,- .

did pass and adopt Resoiution Nos. 76-68' a~d ??-68 calling special
.municipal elections to. be held in the City of Bakersfield, on the 5th
'day .of'November, 1.968, for the purpose of'submitting to the, qualified
electO~a of said City, certain proposed amendments to .the Charter
of' the/City of Bak'ersfield,_-and submitting to the electors in the
territory known as PLAZA NO. '1, 'more fully desc·ribed in Resolution
No ?6'68, for the. purpose of..annexation of that,I territqry to the
City.' o'f Bakersfield, and- .. '

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDj by.',the' Council o:f 'the City': '

of the state of California, it is-.hereby 'ordered that the .special
mun{cipal elections-'called by the Council-of .the City of Bakersfield
for NoVember 5, '1968, be consolidated wi.th...the State General Election
to be hel'd on the same date. .
2.' That the form of. the'~Ci~ty of Bakers'ffeld propositions

Shall PLAZA NO. 1 be annexed to the City of'Baker. s-

the property within the City of Bakersfield', to pay

outstanding'for the acquisition', construction or
completion of municipal improvements.
