RESOLUT~20N OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BA~ERSFIELD AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
THE CONSTRUCTXON OF A WATER SUPPLY
SYSTEM IN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NOo 821 IN THE C~TY OF BA~ERSFYELD AS
DESCRYBED AND PROPOSED IN EESOLUTION
OF INTENTYON NO o 821a ADOPTED THE 6th
DAY OF MAY, 1968o
Council, did in open session on the 7th day of June, 1968, publicly
open~ examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing
the following work in said City to
The constru~tion and installation of a water
supply system on Pierce Road co __mmencing at the
east side of the ~ern River Bridge on Rosedale
Highway, northwest to Pierce Road and thereunto
the south side of the Celloway Canal, with an
easterly extension along Gulf Stree~ for a
~ance of approximately 1,050 feet~ and
~HEREAS~ all of said bids have been duly considered by
said City C~un~il~ and tt appearins to said City Council a~d said
City C~un~tl hereby finds and determines that ~he lowest regular
responsible bidder for the doing of said work is W o M~ Lyles Company°
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Bakersfield, tha~ said City Council does hereby reJe~
al~ of said proposals or bide except the next herein mentioned
and does hereby award the contract for the doins of said work and
said improve~ents ~o the lowest regular responsible bidder,
