~ESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BA~ERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING
FOR CONTRIBUTIONS OF PART OF THE COST
OF EXPENSES OF CERTAIN WORK COMPLETED
WITHIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
MOo 824.
WHERF~,S, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of
Bakersfield, Califoraia, has heretofore, made and filed with the
City Clerk, as assessment and diagram for that certain work done
under and pursuant to the Improvement Act of 1911 (commencing at
Section 5000, Streets and Highways Code) in Resolution of Inten-
~ion No. 824.~ and
WHEREAS, in the opinion. of this City Councils it is
desirable to provide for a contribution by said City of a part of
the ~ost and expenses of said work°
NOW, THEREFORE~ the City Council of the City of Bakers~
field, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMI~ AND ORDER as
follows:
SECTION 1.
A contribution in the amount of Seven Thousand Seven
Hundred Four Dollars and Ninety Cents ($?,704o90) to~qards the
of the expenses of said work is hereby provided for and ordered
be made by the City of Bal~ersfieldo Said amount shall be deducted
from the total cost and expenses of said work and the remainder of
said cost and expenses shall be assessed upon t~e several lots and
parcels of land within Assessment District No~
SECTION 2.
Said contrib'~tion shall be paid from the fUnds of said
City and shall be applied as an offset against the amount of inci~
dental expenses, due and payable by contractor, or his assi~nso
