A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BA~ERSFIELD APP~OVING AND SUBMITTING
A CERTIFICATION OF T~.~ RiGHT-OF°WAY
REQUIRED FOR THE WIDENING OF SOUTH ~'H~
STREET BETWEEN MING AVENUE AND WHITE

WFLERF~S, Resolution Noo 40-.68 of the Council of the City
of Bakersfield approved Agreement No o 43~68 with the State of
California for the construction of Urban Extension Project
UoZ. o-882-3; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides that the City of Bakers~
field will certify to the Dep~rtment of Public Works of the State
of California prior to advertisement for bids by contractors that
the necessary rights-of°way are available for the immediate
construction proposed for contract; and
WHEREAS~ the rights~of~way for said construction have
now been acquired outright~ covered by right of entry~ or order of
immediate possession°
NOW~'THEREFOP, E~ BE iT RESOLVED~ that '~he Certification
of Right~of-Way~ F~AoSoUoE, Project U,E,~882~3, South "M~' Street
between Ming Avenue and White Lane is. hereby approved~ the Mayor
is authorized to sign the same~ and the Clerk is directed to
transmit said certification to the Department of Public Works~
Division of }tighways~ State of California,
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield a~ a
regular meeting ~hereof held on the 6th day of May~ 1968~ by the
following vote:
