~%EREAS, on the 4th day of December, 1967 the City Council
of the City of ~akersfield, California did adopt a resolution anti:
tled "Resolution of the City Council of the City of Bakersfield~
California' declaring its intention to order the construction of a
wa~er supply system on a portion of Gulf and Pierce Roads a~d to
enter into a contract with California Water Service Company to
p~rchase, manage, and service such system; describing the district
to be bonefired b~ said work and to be assessed to pay the cost and
expenses thereof, determining that bonds shall be issued, to rap=e-
sent assessments levied and providing for the disposition of any
=~rpl~s, and fixins ~he time and place for hearing protests and
objections to said wor~ or the extent of the dls~rict to be assessed
or both and giving notice thereof'~ and
WHEREAS the City Council now desires to rescind said
Resolution of Yntention No o 821 so that a modified and revised
resolution may be adopted°
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this City Council of the
City of Bakersfield that the said Resolution of Intention No, 821
be and the same ie hereby rescinded°
