'25-68 BETWEEN THE' CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE MODIFICATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEM, HIGHWAY LIGHTING AND CHANNELIZATION AT THE INTER- SECTION OF 21ST STREET AND UNION AVENUE WITH STATE ROUTE 204 (GOLDEN STATE AVENUE). 'WHEREAS, the State of California and City of Bakersfield. contemplate modification of a traffic control signal system, high- way.lighting and channelization at the intersection of 21st Street and Union AVenue, with State Highway Route 204 '(Golden State Avenue), all within the City of Bakersfield,' and 'desire~to specify 'the' pro- portionate share of the' costs that are to be borneby City and State and to arrange for maintenance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.that agreement No. 25-68 between the City of Bakersfield and the State of California is hereby approved and the Mayo~ is authorized to execute the same.
