RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BANERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA,
AWARDING THE- CONTP~ACT FOR THE DOING OF
I~{E WO~ IN THE ~TTER OFv'PUBLIC IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 824" IN SAID CITY,
PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
ADOPTED BY SAID COUNCIL ON +THE 13th
DAY OF NOVEMBER, 196? o
WHEKEAS, the City Clerk under direction of the City
Council, did in open session on the 16th day of January, 1968~
publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or Bids
to do the following work in said City, to wit:
The construction and installation of sanitary
sewer lines toEether with appurtenant lampholes~
manholes, wye Branches~ and house laterals and
all necessary earthwork and paving repairs for
said construction within Tract No.o 1833 and
Tract No. 2215, along Castro Lane betaMean Wilson
Road and a point 1320 feet south of Ming Avenue
and alonE Wilson Road from a point 380 feet east
of Castro Lane to Calvin Street.
WHEREAS, all of said Bids having Been duly considered
by said City Council, and said City Council hereby finds, upon
the report of the City Clerk and reco~m~_~endations of the City
Engineer, ICha~ the lowest~ regular, responsible Bidder for the
doing of said work is the ~EEDMARC CO~PORATIONo
NOW, THEREFORE ~ BE IT MSOLVED, DETERMINED AND O~E~D
by ~he Ci~7 Co~cil of ~he City of Ba~rsfield, that said City
Co~cil does hereby reJec~ all other said proposals or Bids for
doin~ the v~ork hereinshore described, except the next heroin
mentioned and does hereby award the ~on~rac~ for the doin~ of
said work and improvemen~ to the lowest,reSIst, resp~sible Bidder,
to wit: ~ED~C CO~'ORAT~ON, at the prices and ~der the con~
dirtone named tn said bldderes proposal~ Such a ~ontract be~een
City and P~EEDMAEC CORPORATION is to be executed pursuant ~o the
conditions and ~ecns set forth in Chapter 9 o£ the Streets and
