RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BA~ERSFIELD ASCERTAIN!NC~ AND DETERMINING
THE PREVAILING RATE OF ~qAGES TO BE PAID
IN THE MATTER OF "PUBLIC ~MPROV~ENT DISo
TRICT NO. 822.9, IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the Council of time City of Bakersfield, Calif~
ornia did, on the 7th day of August, 1967, adopt Resolution of
Intention No. 822, for the construction of certain improvements
in Public Improvement District Noo 822, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Labor Co~e o:f
the State of California, it is necessary that the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, California, ascertain and determine the general
prevailing rate of wages in public works, and by the provisions
of said Code make it mandatory upon ~he awarding body of any public
contract where the said body subsequently calls for bids for any
public improvenmnt, to ascertain and determine the prevaf~ling rate
of per diem wages in the locality in which the work is to be per°
formed~ for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed to
execute the contract~ and also the general prevailing rate for
legal holidays and overtime work for each craft or type of workman°
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Ba~ersfield~ Californta~ that said Council has ascertained and
does hereby determine that the general prevailing rate of per
diem wages in the locality in which the said work described is
to be performed in said Resolution of Intention Noo 822, for each
craft or type of workman or nmchanic needed to execute the contract,
and .also the general prevailing rate for legal holidays and over~
tinm work for each craft and type of workman or mechanic, to be
as follows:
