~aERFAS, A petition filed by more than sixty percent (60%)
Of the property o~ners in the area subject to asaessment has been
filed wi.th ~he City of Bakersfield requestin~ that a sanitary
system be constructed in the proposed Public Xmprovement District
Noo 82~ as said district is described in attached Fad%tbit uvA~' and
sho~n on the attached dra~0~ingmarked Exhibit "B'v; and
WHE~FAS, The City Con. nell desires to initiate proceedings
under the ~mprovement Act of 1~11 (com~encinE with Section 5000,
Streets and Highways Code} for tahe construction of said Sanitary
sewer facilities°
NO~, THEREFOP~ BE IT RESOLVED by ~he City Council of
the Cit), of $~kersfield that said Cit~ Council finds and determines
that the'o~3ners of more than ~ixty percent (60%) of the area of
the propert~ subjec~ to assessment for the cost of ~he proposed
improvement work, signed and filed ~ith the City Clerk of the City
of Bakersfield, who is ~=Officio Clerk of the City Council of the
City of Bakersfield~ the legislative body ~ndertakinE said pro~
ceedings, a ~ritten petition for said improvement end a
of the investigation ~nd other requirements provided by the Special
Assessment XnveetiSation, Limitation and Major Protest Act of 1931

DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED SEWER
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
A parcel of land situate in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of
California, and being a portion of Section 12, Township 30 South, Range 27
East, M.D.M., more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Tract No. 22 15 as said Tract is shown on
the map recorded Iune 25, 1959 in Book 1'0 of Maps at ~age 170 in the Office of
the County Recorder of said Kern County;
THENEE (1) easterly along the north line of said Tract No. 2215 to the northeast
corner of Lot 1 of said Tract No. 2215,
THENCE (2) northerly along the westerly terminus of County Road No. 2083
known as Lure Avenue, of 60 feet in width, to intersect the north line of
said Lum Avenue;
THENCE (3) easterly along the said north line of Lure Avenue a distance of 40
feet, more or less, to intersect the west line of the east 264 feet of the
SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section
THENCE (4) northerly along the last named west line a distance of 300 feet,
· more or less, to intersect the north line of the SW' 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of
said Section 12;
THENCE (5) easterly along last named north line and the north line of the SE 1/4
of the NVV 1/4 of said Section 12 to the northeast corner of the SE 1/4 of the
NW 1/4 of said Section 12;

Section 12 to intersect the north'line of the South 283.00 feet of the NW 1/4

THENCE (9) westerly along the last named south line, to. intersect the southerly
prolongation of the east boundary of Tract No. 2400 as said Tract is shown
on the map recorded July 13', 1961, in Book 12 of Maps at pages 24 and 25
in the office of the said County Recorder;
THENCE (10) northerly along the east boundary of 'said Tract No. 2400 to the

the southeast corner thereof;
