A RIgSOLUTION OF ~ COUNCXL OF ~ CI~
OF BAI<E~FXELD/~jvIENDXNG ~ SELECT SYS~
AND REQUESTING THE ~NDED ~S~ BE
APPROVED BY ~ CAL~FO~IA H~G~AY
CORSSIOM.
WHEREAS, Section 186.3 of the Statutes of 1953 provides
for the establishment of a select system of Cit7 streets and County
roads for the purpose of expending thereon funds apportioned to the
cities and counties from the State Highway Fund and the expenditure
of matching funds from other sources~ and
WHE~S, said Section 186o3 also provides that ~uch
select systems may be amended from time to ~ime~ and
WHEREAS, the County Council of the City of Baker, field
did by Resolution No. 59=64 on September 28, 1964 establish a
select system~ and
WHEREAS, the California Highway Co~ission did by
Resolution No. SS~226 on November 18, 19~ approve the system
established by the City; and
should be amended in accordance withumps and report dated July 17,
1967, which has been submitted by the City Engineer for reviewZ
NOW~ T~EREFORE~ BE IT'RESOLVED that the select system be
amended as shown on the n~ps and report dated July 17~ 1967~
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the California Highway Con~ission
is hereby requested to approve the amended ayeteE and the City Clerk
is directed to transmit four copies of the ump, report and this
resolution to the District Engineer of the Division of ~lgh~ays
for transmittel to the California Highway ConE~lssioni
