A P~SOLUTION OF THE CITY COD~qCXL OF 'TH~ CIT~
OF B~FIE~ ADOPTING AMD SUBDUING A
B~GET FOR EXPE~ITM OF F~S A~~D
FROM M STA~ HI~AY F~D TO CITIES.
W~EREAS~ a master agreement has been executed by the
City and the State of California on April 3:. 1961~ for expenditure
of funds allocated from the State highway fund to cities~ and
W~EREAS, the Director of Public Works has prepared a
budget proposal showing estimated expenditures of such funds
recommended to be made during the 1967=68 fiscal year; and
WMEREAS~ the City Council has heard read said budget
proposal and is familiar with the contents thereof~
NOW TMEP~EFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Bakersfield that said budget proposal, dated Mmy 25, 19679
be, and the same is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed
expenditures of the gas tax allocation to the City of Bakersfield
for the 1967~68 flecal year and the Director of Public Works fe
directed to execute said budget proposal on behalf of the City
and to su~mit the same to the Department of Public Works~ State
of California, in accordance with the provisionm of Section 197 of
the Streets and Mightaye Code°
