Pursuan~ to Section 22003 of the Elections Code of the
State of California~ the Council of the City of Bakersfield does
hereby RESOLVE, as follows:
1o That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Kern~
Sta~e of Califo~nia~ is hereby requested to permit the County Clerk
of said County to perform ~he followinE services for the City of
Bakersfield relating to the conduct of the Nominating Municipal
~Mlec~ion to be Held tn said city on February 28~ 1967o
Address ~he Polling Place Cards and insert sample
ballots and Polling Place Cards in sample balio~
envelopes o
Send sample ballots only to those persons eligible
~o vo~e within precincts for particular offices°
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
regular meeting thereof held on the 9th day of january~ t967,
